What We Do
We offer many opportunities to become an active member of our community and the world beyond.
Inspire
The UNA San Diego Chapter is one of the most active chapters in America. Our organization has collaborated with schools, universities, businesses and non-profits to educate and serve San Diego and communities abroad. We have successfully contributed computers to schools in Tanzania, implemented and hosted artistic, educational and cultural campaigns and even provided aid relief to the afflicted South East Asian community after the 2004 Tsunami.
Educate
UNASD hosts a wide variety of events from community fundraisers to symposiums discussing world issues such as poverty, hunger, public health, and terrorism.
Participate
We encourage you to get involved by visiting one of our annual events or joining one of our committees. You can help with business development, event planning, fundraising, copy writing, graphic design, creative campaign development, public speaking and so much more. UNASD offers a vehicle to contribute to society, build relationships and show your appreciation for our global community by using your skill set, talents or resources towards special programs and projects.
Involve
As a non-profit, volunteer organization, we greatly value your talents and contributions. The following is a list of just some of the UNASD projects and campaigns that offer opportunities for you to get involved and be a part of the greater world around you:
