Dear friends,

Come join the United Nations Association San Diego's Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC-UNASD) for a fun and informative happy hour at the Bamboo Lounge on Saturday, August 21st from 5p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is hosted in conjunction with the San Diego World Affairs Council and we will be discussing the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) - which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 - form a blueprint agreed to by all the world's countries and all the world's leading development institutions.

What are your views on the MDGs? Come share them with your YPIC friends and other internationally-minded people.

There will also be trivia and prizes to be won.
